The first type of vampyres are the Blood drinkers. They drink blood to stisfy their mental as well as physical need for it. These vampyres are addicted to blood as a person can be to illegal substances. There are some who have a mental need for blood consumption. Their mind tells them that they cannot live without blood. Others have a real need for it through their physical self. Their bodies crave it. Imagine starving yourself for a whole week, a vampyre will feel like that almost constantly. Some of them are able to control these urges, others are not. They do not go out to feed in the middle of the night, however, they do drink blood from willingly friends or spouses. These vampyres are not affected by crosses, holy water, garlic nor sunlight although they do have sensitive skin and can burn easily. Some are solitary although most are found in covens or groups. These vampyres are not all necessarily immortal although there are some that are immortal. All vampyres in all four catagories do have heightened senses and are able to detect their own kind. They do live longer than the average mortal.

Psychic vampyres are vampyres that feed upon energy. They tend to have a lot of energy themselves and consume a ton of food even though they come in different shapes and sizes. Psivampyres (same thing) are immune to most diseases and things although they do get sick once every couple of years. They heal extremely fast. These vampyres get their energy from everything around them such as mortals, plants, and animals whether they realize it or not. If they can focus their ability, they can consume energy from a specific target. The extreme effects of drainage are; passing out, strokes, and cardiovascular problems such as heart attacks. There are many ways of energy transfer. They can suck energy from physical touch such as hugging or holding hands, words (your breath), or from concentrating on your aura or chi. You can even be drained by just standing close to a psivampyre or standing across the room from one. They are not affected by holy water, crosses, garlic or sunlight. Psivampyres are also sensitive to the sun and can get burned if they stay out too long. They have heightened senses and can drink blood if they choose to. They are not immortal although some are such as the succubus and incubus. They do not have the ability to change physically but is more likely to astrally. They cannot fly and they do not sleep in coffins or hang upside down like bats. There are no defects or any physical differences that will enable you to spot them from the group. They do however, recognize their kind.

The third type of vampyres are Sexual vampyres. They feed off of the sexual energy given off during and after sexual intercourse. These vampyres may or may not drink blood. They can to heighten the sexual arousement and for sheer ecstacy reasons more than for the actual "need" of it. They can be immortals such as the succubus and incubus or mortal. As I have said, they are not affected with crosses, holy water, garlic or sulight although they are sensitive to the sun. They do not sleep in coffins and cannot change physical form although some may have a chance to change forms in the astral.

The last type of vampyres are the Real Immortal vampyres. They are the ones similar to all the glamourous vamps that you see on television. These vampyres have extremely sensitive skin although they do not turn to a pile of dust by getting touched by the sun. They also have extremely heightened senses and are given the ability to fly. However, these vampyres are less likely able to change physical form. They do look as young as they were when they were "transformed" and age very slowly. These are the vampyres that grow in strength and mind as they grow older. They are very wise and many have seen the everchanging face of the world as well as the start of humanity. There are not very much youngsters because they are extra extremely sensitive to the sun during the first hundred years or so and are often killed by accidental exposures. Vampyres can love and they all possess a conscience. If they love a mortal way too deeply, they may offer him or her the "dark" gift of immortality. Although vampyres cannot have children-yet, it isn't impossible because few have-they can copulate and have children with mortals, dominions, and demons. All vampyres risk passing the dark gift on to their unborned child. These vampyres are immune to the sun (most older vampyres), the cold, and many diseases and plauges. They are the true children of the night.
