Israel. Palestinians. I hate to see a war.
I think that it's pretty selfish of Bush to tell Israel to withdraw. To me, Israel is just defending itself, and its friend, America, was supposed to back it up, but didn't. To me, that's wrong. But hey, I don't know the entire story. That's just my opinion.
It's not worth it. America's New War. Terrorism. How would we be able to contain something so widespread and corrupt? Power corrupts. What defines terrorism? When lives are at stake? A powerful govenor could care less about how many protestors that he killed that was jepardizing his career only to end up getting re-elected again and blaming the deaths on someone else, an enemy that has been dormant for years. That is terrorism. But it is not defined as such. It's defined as covering up your own butt.
America isn't a great example. What Hitler did, genocide, isn't even as bad as what Americans did. We killed out an entire ethnic race, the Indians, and forced them to live on reservations. And when we saw that we couldn't beat them, we killed off the buffalo hoping to get rid of them. It, the land, belonged to them first. It was never ours to even take. And they helped us to survive. And how do we pay them back? We wiped out countless numbers of Indian tribes. Who is to say that America is the great superpower? We have nukes, and yes, we showed that we aren't afraid to use them when we dropped that bomb on Hiroshima. But to every American, there is at least 10 or more Chinese. If China was to join up with Russia (whom we are at bad terms with for our continuous lies) and the Middle Eastern Countries, they could have us beat in a heartbeat. Military combat, we don't stand a chance, but we have the technology to survive. If they were smart and asked each other to help get rid of us, I am sure that they would be able to create things far worse than nuclear bombs.
Most inventors weren't Americans. Some Americans got the credit although it was stolen from others. Most inventions came about due to the Europeans and Asians. Asia had spices when we didn't. They were ahead of us. They made silk and whatever else.
If people were smart, they'd compromise. And I am waiting to see the downfall of America, and its ignorance. We only do things with a cover of 'humanitary causes' when in fact, we are only looking out for our best interests. We attacked the Middle East because it was the world's great oil supply. We got into World War II when Japan attacked Pearl Harbour. We didn't care that Hitler attacked Poland and other countries nor that he wiped out most of the Jews because we did the same to the Indians and Africans.
Everything in this world lives in a balance. Animals are exactly like us, they live in families and take care of each other. Of course there will forever be a leader of some sort whether human or animal, but you do not see species screwing each other over for a percentage (Money). We're the only selfish creatures that do that. And America is bias like hell. We speak of equality and shit but we never act upon it.
Years of slavery and you don't see African Americans killing Americans (whites) nor the remaining Indians to go on mass genocide missions. The president, all 43 of them has always been white. About 5 to 1 of the reporters you see on television is white. Congress is full of white people. And the world is full of rich whites. Palm Beach, Florida...hardly anyone can go there, not even many movie stars. It has been cut off from the rest of the world and belongs to "rich people" whom of 100 to one are white.
People have the power to create cures and lifetime supplies of certain things (like tires that can last forever), but they don't do it because they want to make a profit. Everything runs on money. I hate it all so much. I don't like the way the world is evolving. At this rate, there'll be Gaps and Starbucks all over the place and little like hell of a rainforest left to call the Amazon.
I want my kids to be able to enjoy life, and to see all that I have seen, and more. It matters little to me how people are living, but I don't want to witness them screwing each other over. And if I have to be the first to make a stand, so be it. Even if I do have to stand alone.
America is stubborn, and it is challenging its place amongst the rest of the world. The smart people are too smart, they don't want to work together. But in numbers come strength. If only they knew how easy it is to disarm this tyrant, then they would. America is a tyrant, to me. To the world. It plays a role as the greatest super power, bluffing and showing off its powers to all, playing the international policemen, and all of this other shit. To me, that is tyranny. A giant, powerful country, dominating all others and controlling them.
As Bush had so elequently put it, "I expect Israel to withdraw." <---There is no way that America would withdraw from the September 11 attack and let whomever did it get away, so why let Israel stop defending itself? Since when did it depended on America's command, not opinion, but command? Tyranny comes in many forms, and the British Monarchy, the tyrant whom America could not stand and obey anymore, is not the first. Soon, people will rebel.
History repeats itself closely. I don't appreciate arrogence in people. They should reconsider learning history again to not make the same mistakes again. Alright, enough chattering about how much I am tired of everything.
Just stating my opinion. You have your own views, let me know what it is.
